Working with Top Management Teams

Are you looking for someone to work with your top management team to give advice and support?

We offer consultancy advice and guidance to top management teams, helping and supporting them to be more effective. Over the years we have established a positive reputation in higher education for our ability to support the effectiveness of top management teams.

Typical assignments have included:

  • Establishing and embedding a new culture across 25 members of a senior management team following a restructure
  • A review of the effectiveness of a top management team
  • Change management event for a top management team

For each of these assignments, high quality consultancy support has been provided either by a member of the Leadership Foundation’s senior management team or by a very experienced Key Associate. Our approach is highly customised to the needs of each team and its leadership challenges.

We have also created our own bespoke top team diagnostic instrument that we use with top teams. It gathers team members’ views about the following aspects of team effectiveness:

  • The purpose of the team
  • Roles within the team
  • The perceived effectiveness of the team
  • Relationships with other teams and stakeholders
  • The ‘team type’ – mapping the characteristics of the team
