The Future Leaders Programme has been designed to improve leadership capability by transforming the contribution Information Services (IS) professionals can make to higher education over the next decade. The Leadership Foundation has developed this programme in collaboration with SCONUL, UCISA and the British Library. The 13 day programme, running over a one-year period, has been developed specifically to help experienced professional IS staff - typically covering library, ICT and related services - with proven management experience to develop a more strategic approach in preparation for a greater leadership contribution.
The programme assists participants to take a more visionary and strategic approach to build world class leadership capabilities within their field. It will provide participants with an increased understanding of the nature of the IS leadership challenge and best practice, and give them a clearer view about their readiness for leadership.
