Small Development Projects

The deadline for 2013 Project Submissions has now closed

The call for proposals for the 2013 Small Development Projects (SDP) has now closed. We will be making funding available for ten Small Development Projects (SDPs). Higher education institutions that are members of the Leadership Foundation (or groups of members) are invited to bid for up to £10,000. These projects are part of the Leadership Foundation’s commitment to investing in innovation in higher education. 

The key principles of the SDP fund are that it supports innovative activities that would not normally attract funding from within an institution and that there is clear benefit to the wider HE community to learn from project processes and outcomes. The fund has supported 87 since its inception in 2004.

The LF’s Director, Networks and Organisational Development, Dr Lesly Huxley says: "the popularity of SDPs and their excellent track record makes it clear that this is an invaluable investment that we should most certainly continue making."
