Aims and overview:
A one-day conference for leaders of universities and colleges of further and higher education to share and learn from the experiences of Californian colleagues.
For 3 years the Leadership Foundation has co-organised a transatlantic dialogue between higher education leaders in the US and the UK that has taken place in Washington DC. These occasions have enabled participants to share experience of a range of issues with colleagues from the other country. The 2010 session will for the first time take place in the UK and will build on the success of the earlier transatlantic dialogues. This conference will provide the opportunity to explore and discuss shared challenges facing higher education institutions in the United Kingdom and the United States.

This event will offer the opportunity to explore ideas about responses to challenges in these thematic areas.
