MASHEIN's Leadership Development Programme

A development programme for Academic Heads of Department/School

The programme is designed specifically for academic managers at Department/School level in small HEIs. It is a nine month programme comprising four and a half contact days, action learning sets, a virtual learning environment and mentoring/shadowing opportunities. The course offers participants the opportunity to examine their role and leadership style, develop their strategic understanding and skills in relation to organisational mission, and engage in career planning.

Application Deadline: Friday 7 October 2011

Session 1: Wednesday 2 November 2011

Session 2: Tuesday 7 - Thursday 9 February 2012 (Residential)

Session 3: Wednesday 16 May 2012

Fees

The programme fee for participants from small higher education institutions which are members of the Leadership Foundation is £650. For participants from small institutions which are not members of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education the fee will be £1,200. The programme fee includes the twp nights accommodation required by the residential module.
