This conference was jointly organised by Hefce and the Leadership Foundation and took place at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London on Thursday 24 January 2008.
The conference consisted of a mix of plenary and parallel seminar sessions, the latter showcasing the work of 18 LF Fellowship and 16 LGM Fund award holders. During the day participants heard first hand from individuals leading innovative and groundbreaking projects in UK HEIs in a number of areas including change management, equality and diversity, succession management and governance.
The day also marked the launch of the new £10million LGM fund which will now be run in partnership by Hefce and the Leadership Foundation. The concluding session offered a Q&A session for anyone interested in applying to the Fund, with advice on how to apply and guidance on the kinds of proposals Hefce and the Leadership Foundation are looking for.
Audio clips of many of the sessions are available to listen to online and the PowerPoints from most of the sessions can also be viewed via the event presentations page. Video clips of sessions will follow shortly.
