The last annual meeting of clerks and secretaries of governing bodies was held on 18 June 2009. The next meeting will take place on 17 June 2010.
Various changes arising from the Companies Act 2006 took effect from 1 October 2009. These will affect those institutions which are established as companies limited by guarantee. Guidance can be found on the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills web site.
