The Public Accounts Committee of the House of Commons has reported on Regulating Financial Sustainability in Higher Education, following a National Audit Office Report in March 2011. The Committee broadly concludes that HEFCE has delivered value for money, but that a new system of regulation and accountability will be needed in future.
