Severance payments to senior staff

HEFCE has published new guidance on severance payments to senior staff in circular letter 06/2009. This updates guidance previously given in 2002. There are specific requirements on governors in the principles which should apply when decisions are taken about severance payments.

There is also guidance on appointing and remunerating senior staff as part of the human resources management section of the web site.
