HEFCE Funding Announcement for 2010-11

HEFCE has announced its provisional allocations of funding to universities and colleges in England for 2010-11. The total sum of £7,356m. is 3.6% less in real terms than for 2009-10, assuming that inflation is 2% and allowing for the £250m. of capital funding previously brought forward. Allocations to individual institutions vary, depending on factors such as the concentration of research funding and the funding for additional student places.
