University Governance - Questions for a New Era
HEPI has published a paper
University Governance: Questions for a New Era by Professor Malcolm Gillies, Vice-Chancellor of London Metropolitan University. The report contains some interesting observations, and argues that universities should be governed by those who best understand their core interests, with an important role for alumni, who will soon become the chief funding source.
For regular updates on various matters governors may wish to join the HEFCE Governance e mail list.
