David Willetts speaks at UUK Conference
David Willetts, Minister of State for Universities and Science, set out his and Vince Cable's thinking on the main options for 'an iron triangle that is the framework for our core funding decisions' in a
speech to the UUK conference on 9 September 2010. The three key aspects of the 'iron triangle' are efficiency savings; reducing student numbers and graduates paying more for their courses. He also emphasised the importance of teaching and of a more open HE market.
