HEFCE Grant Announcement for 2009-10

HEFCE has announced grants of £7,994m. to English universities and colleges for 2009-10. This represents a 4% increase in cash terms over the 2008-09 position. The unit of resource for teaching has been maintained and funding for research has increased by 7.7%. The effects on individual institutions vary.
