In early 2011 the LFHE and CUC are expected to publish a report of the project involving 16 governing bodies helping to develop a new approach to the review of governing body effectiveness. A major conference is planned for May 2011.
An update on this project is given in slides 4-8 of a presentation made to the annual meeting of clerks held in June 2010.
The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) is undertaking a consultation on improving board effectiveness, and has published some draft guidance.
