Enabling Equality: Furthering disability equality for staff in higher education

Enabling Equality: Furthering disability equality for staff in higher education is a new joint research project commissioned by the Equality Challenge unit and the Leadership Foundation.

The research will explore the experiences of disabled staff working in and employed by higher education (HE) institutions in the UK and its overall aim is to identify effective practices to develop more inclusive working environments for disabled staff to improve career development and equal opportunities. The research will led to a report and guidance for the higher education sector to further disability equality.

To find out more about the research and how you and your institution can contribute see Enabling Equality: Furthering disability equality for staff in higher education.

The closing date for taking part is Friday 17 December 2010.
