The Leadership Foundation is about to start developing the next phase of its project Reviewing Governing Body Effectiveness, and work is also due to begin on producing the second series of the Getting to Grips publications.
On the Reviewing Governing Body Effectiveness project we are inviting up to 10 HEIs' governing bodies to become part of a small group that will take part in the project by reviewing how HEIs currently review their effectiveness, and to test a new draft framework that will help HEIs undertaking such reviews in the future. The Getting to Grips publications will be published at the start of 2011. We are seeking part-time authors to draft and produce the text on the following topics: Academic quality and the student experience, Internationalisation, and Understanding research.
