The Leadership Foundation has announced that its new director of programmes will be Dr Paul Gentle.
After spending more than 15 years in leadership roles in two higher education institutions in different parts of England, Paul has worked for the Leadership Foundation (LF) since 2008 as programme director for the core development programmes of Head of Department, Preparing for Senior Strategic Leadership and Senior Strategic Leadership.
His new role will see him take overall responsibility for the LF’s range of open programmes for leadership, governance and management, and for professional programmes run in association with organisational partners.
Paul is looking forward to creating new opportunities for inspiring leaders, and says:
“I am committed to finding ways of strengthening the impact of our leadership development activities on practices in the higher education. This means supporting individual leaders even better and also building collaborative working across and between providers.”
Paul will begin his new role on March 1 2012.
