The Leadership Foundation is extremely pleased to announce that Alastair Work and Jim McGoldrick have been appointed as Associate Directors (Scotland) to take forward the main aspects of our work in Scotland for the next 6 months.
Both Alastair and Jim have been very active in working on our programme of work over the last 2-3 years. Jim was a member of the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council, and a member of the original Scottish Funding Council Review Group on Leadership. He also played a key part in designing and steering the needs analysis for Scotland in 2004.
Alastair, who was Secretary at St Andrews, has been responsible directly for delivering our Heads of Department programmes both in Scotland and the rest of the UK, and is also on the team delivering our Top Management Programme. Both Alastair and Jim are Key Associates of the Leadership Foundation. They will be supported by Natalie Poyser, who is our Project Administrator (Scotland) and is based at Universities Scotland’s offices in Edinburgh.
We are in the process of recruiting a permanent Director of Leadership for Scotland.
