'The led' in relation to professorial leadership research is one of our popular Small Development Projects (SDPs) that were commissioned earlier this year and it will be completed in March 2012. SDPs are for HEIs that are members of the Leadership Foundation and support the development of innovative projects that HEIs are unable to support. The Leadership Foundation funds them to no more than £10,000 each.
This research is being carried out by Leeds and Oxford Brookes universities, and is still underway, you can read a summary of the research so far here: 'The led' in relation to professorial leadership, and this also includes dates of events where the researchers will present their work.
There is still the opportunity to take part in the online survey and links to it are here: 'The led' survey. The survey closes at the end of February 2012.
More than 30 HEIs applied for a Small Development Projects for 2012 and the successful projects will be announced in January.
