The Leadership Foundation is pleased to announce The Right Honourable David Willetts MP, Minister of State for Universities and Science as a Keynote speaker at our Higher Education Governance Summit: Current Challenges and Looking Ahead to 2020, Tuesday 10 May 2011.
The conference will look at the topical issue of the effective governance of the UK's universities and higher education colleges, especially when looking at the challenges facing many institutions in the current financial environment.
This summit will disseminate the outcomes of a CUC/Leadership Foundation Hefce Leadership, Governance and Management Project on governing body effectiveness which for the first time seeks to 'map' the various factors involved in effectiveness, and present higher education with an optional framework for considering the effectiveness of their own governing bodies.
