This section contains resources that are concerned with improving the way that staff are recruited to, prepared for and appointed into leadership role in higher education.
The resources will be of use to:
- Senior managers and HR professionals who are seeking examples of practice, case studies and project reports on succession management issues in higher education and other sectors with clear parallels to HE experience;
- Staff developers seeking materials to use to illustrate management and leadership development sessions on succession issues;
- Staff who are seeking leadership roles and are looking for information, ideas or inspiration about how they might move forward in their careers.
The resources are grouped into three categories which are not exclusive but give some idea of where to start.
