The Association of Heads of University Administration (AHUA) and the Leadership Foundation have been working to create a series of further development activities aimed at more experienced administrative professionals in the higher education. The Leadership Foundation is committed to providing a new series of vibrant and ambitious opportunities/events with participation to be drawn from beyond the AHUA membership, to include the vice-chancellor community, chairs of university boards, other senior academic colleagues, and from the most senior levels in the wider public sector, senior civil service and the private sector. The emphasis will be on strong, practical inputs underpinned by dynamic training aids and arrangements.
In these areas, there is also a critical link to existing Leadership Foundation programmes, notably, the Top Management and the Senior Strategic Leadership programmes, which are also to be reviewed to ensure their relevance and attractiveness to professional managers.
