What is the LF Knowledge Bank?
The Knowledge Bank toolkit is packed with resources you can use to boost performance at work, just when your staff need it. The resources will help you to support leaders and managers to tackle day-to-day challenges by developing their skills and capabilities.
How is it used?
To help users find what they need quickly and easily, the resources in the toolkit are structured across six headings:
With over 50 topics to choose from, users can find resources to help them support their managers to cope with today’s changing environment. In the toolkit you'll find a range of content, from articles, videos, infographics, top tips, to self-assessments and much more.
Need to support managers or staff?
If you work in a people-focussed profession like Learning and Development, Human Resources or Organisational Development, then others are going to look to you for help. Knowledge Bank gives you the means to provide that help. With a range of templates, diagnostics and questionnaires to hand, you can quickly identify issues and challenges, and not only offer constructive and effective solutions, but help to implement them too.
Need to find out about a subject quickly?
We’ve all had the experience of having to get up to speed on a topic but not having enough time to do it. Even if it’s a topic we think we know a lot about, things move so fast it’s good to reassure ourselves that our thinking is up-to-date. Unfortunately, trawling through the vast amounts of information online is a time-consuming endeavour in itself. This is where Knowledge Bank comes in. Not only do we stay on top of a wide range of topics, we also cover them from a variety of angles. So if you need a ‘quick fix’ refresher, try our top tips or how to guides. But if something with a bit more depth is required our key concepts and theories pieces are just the thing.
Looking to put together a workshop or course?
Designing a course from scratch can be a daunting process. How should it be structured? What information should be covered and how? What are the best exercises to include? Not only do we provide you with thorough overviews of topics (handy to make sure that you are covering the essential elements), but Knowledge Bank is full of exercises, energisers, and icebreakers that you can put straight into your learning solutions. You can download them as Word documents too, so that you can customise them as you see fit.
Here are a few examples of the types of content you will find, and how those in other sectors have used them:
