The former head of Diversity and Inclusion for the London 2012 Olympic and KPMG, Stephen Frost will join the panel discussion at the launch of the Leadership Foundation’s latest research The Role of Executive Search Firms: Increasing Diversity in Higher Education.
Stephen is an advisor to the UK government and has previously advised The White House. He also teaches Inclusive Leadership at Harvard Business School, Singapore Management University and Sciences Po in France.
The other members of the panel offering expert analysis are: Margaret Ayers, director of Human Resources at Queen Mary University of London and secretary for UHR and Dr Esther Cavett, senior research fellow at King’s College London and former vice-chair, Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance.
The study conducted by a team of equality and diversity experts at Oxford Brookes University reveals the important, yet opaque role of executive search firms in shaping the senior team in higher education and raises questions about the boundaries of accountability for equality and diversity outcomes and the extent to which universities, as the client, challenge the process.
