Ian Jenkins FLF said: “I was delighted to receive my LF Fellowship Award from Andy Cope in the middle of his insightful, engaging and often hilarious day. Like all LF Fellows, this is a great professional milestone for me and a key element of my ongoing higher education professional development, marked by a memorable occasion – all with a complementary man hug. Brilliant!”
Ian and Karen received their awards in front of a number of Leadership Foundation alumni.
Leadership Foundation Fellowships are awarded to participants of eligible leadership programmes who opt-in to complete additional learning after the completion of the programme. This involves demonstrating through an organisational project how they have applied the learning from their leadership programme. Fellows reflect on the success and effectiveness of this over the lifetime of the project, which can take between 6-12 months. Through this process, fellows are also provided with a fellowship coach who supports them through the project and guides them on their individual learning journey.
Fellows who were unable to receive the awards on the day but will be receiving them in the post shortly are:

How to become an LF Fellow
The LF Fellowship is awarded in recognition of the work that a participant has undertaken on a programme and beyond it to develop as a leader. Achieving an LF Fellowship involves a combination of developing and working through a personal development plan, providing supportiing evidence and bespoke conversations with our specialists. Successfully completing this supported process will lead to the award of the title 'LF Fellow' with the postnominal FLF.
The awarding of the LF Fellowships is made by a selection panel, following the consideration of the participant's application. As part of the application process, prospective LF Fellows will provide evidence from their reflective log to show that they have met the criteria of the Fellowship. The application needs to be validated by a senior colleague or line manager.
