The Leadership Foundation is delighted to announce its 2016-2017 national Governor Development Programme which offers a range of support, training, development and networking to bring together governors from across UK higher education.
Building on our excellent Governor Development Programme, this year we complement our face-to-face development days with our online Self Assessment Tool, a five week online programme Rethinking Governance, Chatham House roundtable discussions in partnership with CUC, and a year-long programme for clerks and secretaries.

In order to provide this selection of events and seminars, we are working in partnership with a number of key organisations.
The Governor Development Programme is designed to address the needs of all of our governors across the UK. It is important to note that while days may be flagged as more relevant to particular governors, any governor is welcome to attend any event. In addition to the events covered in this programme we will also be adding additional events/conferences as the year develops to address the evolving situation.
The Governor Development Programme was started in 2005 and built on the earlier initiatives of the Committee of University Chairs (CUC). The programme is designed to support governors in all higher education institutions throughout the UK.
