The Leadership Foundation can support leaders at every stage of their careers. All our open programmes offer invaluable opportunities to reflect on practice, work alongside colleagues from other institutions, and explore recent thinking on university leadership at each level.
The open programmes are designed for clear progression as leaders develop within and beyond their institutions, and it is not unusual for participants to make their way up the ladder of programmes at intervals of one or two years between each programme.

PSSL is designed to engage and assist those facing the challenges of the corporate leadership, planning and change agenda.
Leading Departments (LDs) is designed to engage support and develop heads to meet the operational challenges of leading and managing academic, research or support teams.
Introduction to Head of Department will take you through the contemporary contexts and challenges of being a head of department.
Transition to Leadership is for new leaders, who want to build on their personal, team and organisational leadership skills. Through a mix of online and face-to-face delivery you will gain the tools and experience to be an impactful leader.

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has today announced that it will conduct a fundamental review of the UK Corporate Governance Code. The review is expected to take account of the FRC's own work on corporate culture and succession planning, the government's recent green paper on corporate governance reform and the work of a parliamentary select committee on the same subject.
