Professor Amanda J. Broderick

Amanda is pro-vice chancellor (International Priorities) and executive dean of the College of Business & Law, University of Salford and has held chairs in Marketing at multiple institutions in the UK and visiting chairs internationally. She has twenty years in the HEI sector with substantive leadership roles. This breadth and depth of experience has given Amanda a considerable understanding of the global higher education marketplace and a rare insight into a cross-section of strategic groupings of universities. Amanda has an international academic reputation; a strong profile of forging collaborations within world-class higher education and business; and a high-achievement track record in business change and innovation. She consults widely for business, commerce and public policy and is a representative on a variety of national and international bodies and committees.
Amanda is an alumna of TMP 30.
A leader that has inspired me is the late Dame Anita Roddick (founder of The Body Shop) – an entrepreneur who lived her values, enjoyed great success and left a lasting legacy.
