The new higher education environment creates a need for real collaboration between professional services departments where managers now face the challenge of developing approaches for successful cross-service working. Leaders of the future will also tackle increasing complexity in the relationships they build with external stakeholders. This programme is designed to support and challenge participants through the changes they face in their careers. It is about inspiring the professional leader.
The Future Leaders Programme provides a unique opportunity for experienced professional services staff - such as library, ICT, finance and procurement, student services, and related activities - to deepen their understanding and leadership ability and develop their potential. It is for those who aspire to a strategic role within professional services and who have proven management experience.
FLP has been developed in collaboration with SCONUL, UCISA and The British Library, and is now also supported by BUFDG.
